Production Artist by day.. crafter by night (and weekends).
I pay my bills, I get distracted by shiny things, I love my dog, I refuse to pay full price for anything, I tell pointless stories, I like candy, I’ve got an etsy store. I love photography, sewing, crochet, crafts, jewelry making, painting, drawing and baking.
F.A.Q.
What does your Blog name mean?
I’m always offering to hold things for people, mostly hats, coats, sweaters and while looking for a blog name, Ian told me that I was a very good coat rack (since I held his coat, oh so well), I joked I would use THAT as my name, and it happened, and I still like the weird sound of it. :)
How many years on this planet? and where do you hang your hat?
I’m 25, living in NJ in our new house (well we only moved in October 20th). We’ve owned it for 2 years and it’s still a work in progress! I should post up some Renovating photos eventually.
Timeline:
Ian and I met at work November 2006.
After shooting me down, he finally gave in and we started dating June 20, 2009.
Ian bought his house (our house now!) September 2010.
He proposed to me on Nov 5, 2011.I didn’t have anything better to do for the rest of my life, so I acccepted.
We got married on October 20, 2012. Everyone says that their day was the best day ever. Ours was our Best Day Ever.
Moved into our new home October 20, 2012… and it’s still a work in progress. :)
Cute Pictures. You forgot the Turkey Lazer though. :-)
p.s. You CAN eat healthier. The next time you guys come up to my apartment, I’m shoving carrots down your throat!
I always get distracted by shiny things too! xD Thanks for your kind comment on my post xx
Hi Dara. Becca sent me here to check out your blog and I love all the stuff you do. She also mentioned you designed her header for her blog. Could you help me design mine?
“I get distracted by shiny things”, I do too :) I’m a girly girl and love shiny things and ruffles.
You’re so talented. I have been perusing your blog and I saw the necklces, drawings and blog headers you’ve created.
What I admire in people is their creativeness and their desire to put themselves out there and to show passion for something, anything :) You’ve got that and I’m glad we met thru the blog world.
